    Advanced Hitting Coach

I would highly recommend Coach O as he is known in the local softball community. He is the former head coach of Queens University and is now giving private lessons daily and doing team sessions. He has been out to work with our team several times over the past month and we have seen great improvement. He is very knowledgeable and has a great background, he has worked with many colleges and universities. I would highly recommend him. His email is [email protected]

    Hitting Instructor

I would recommend Coach Ochoa as well. I have seen him in action and have heard many good things about him as an instructor and coach. I was out at Lenoir Rhyne College yesterday and watched his Blues team play. Those girls were flat out crushing the ball from top to bottom in the line up. The thing I really liked was how he was breaking things down for them during the game. I know sometimes coaches, coach too much during the game but he was just giving small pieces of information to allow the hitter to make small adjustments and it showed. Plus after every inning he would continuously work with his kids and was always positive in his coaching.

Bottom line I think he would be a good one to get a hold of.

    techniques, aggressiveness and discipline (TAD)

working contiuously on the "small pictures" of hitting(techniques)makes the "big picture" so much clearer in the end.

i know............we all know its not rocket science?

    Mike Price

Our Durham-based scout, Mike Price, is an excellent hitting instructor as well. He schooled daughter, Emily, who went on to become one of UNC's best all-time hitters. (She is now the hitting instructor for Coach Pappa at Carolina.). Mike is a great guy, communicates easily with kids and has a real passion for the sport. You can reach him at (919) 452-1865.
