I just wanted to hear back from some of the parents here that I know have kids playing for Western's softball team or at least know of the players. What did you think of the presentation of the rings for winning the southern conference tournament? Outside the stadium on a grassy knoll with the best that Bojangles could offer....Come on. If another "mens" team have won a southern conference title do you think they would have presented them inside the stadium at halftime? maybe? not?

Before the football game, on the grass in front of the Ramsey Center. I was just thinking that even though its only softball...they might get a little better recognition than that....

I was there last year at a football game when they presented the rings to the basketball team, they did it at half time of the football game on the football field. Says alot about how softball is viewed at Western if you ask me.

thats terrible Enka. I agree.... way too much sacrifice going on for it to be handled in such a fashion.
