IMO if ACHS can stay even in turnovers and penalties they will win. If not it wil be Watauga.

RAMS42- siad it all. Cougars have a good enough offense to move the ball. Scrap the shot gun guys its clear you cant run it. CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!!! And your whole offense sure is painful to watch. Harrington and Deal need the ball more "between the tackles". IT WORKS. Not to well from 2nd and 15 after a fumbled shot gun snap though. Defense is great and fun to watch and I believe the other side of the ball has a lot of talent also. We have a very good team that has played poorly all year we should easily be 3-6 or 8-1.

Folks have been discounting the Watauga defense all year, but it's pretty darn good. I'd guess it's, on average, comparable to Alexander's. Alexander gets some points for being at home, but the difference will be in the offenses ... the EB train keeps on rolling. It will be raining Friday night, so turnovers could be an issue for all.

I agree. If the Cougars don't have 6 holding penaltys and break even in the turnovers, they will win the game. Eric Breitenstien is a great player who should be given every bit of credit you want to give him. The thing is, EB will be hit harder, or as hard as he has been hit all year. I don't think AC Reynold's defense is any better than the Cougars. They will flat out stick your ass. If it rains, it might help the Cougars hang on to the damned ball.

    Watauga by 10.

Alexander Central has a good defense, but has no offense right now. Here's hoping for their sake they find it tonight. But with them being a bit more strong in the pass game on a possibly raining night, and Breitenstien grinding it out of the Cougars, I see Watauga with the win.

    hah, wind

Yeh, it's blowing about 60 miles per hour in Boone; I don't think the relative breeze in Taylorsville will bother the mountain boys much. There ain't no leaves left on the trees up here.

LOL! I was thinking the same way. if the breeze was gonna hurt anyone, it will be the Cougars. The Boone boys are use to it.
