Good pick up for Mars Hill

He should be an impact player right away for coach Taylor, especially at the plate. Daniel comes from a winning tradition and a strong family. He knows what it takes and works very hard. Great team player.

I think that Dalton Hardee from Watauga has also commited to Mars Hill. If you have good grades and a good SAT score you can qualify for alot of academic scholarships. The baseball staff and the admissions people are great to work with. Unless you are a big time recruit your academic scholarships will always total more than your baseball scholarships. This is why as coaches we need to support and encourage academics with our players.

    Mars Hill - Daniel Coffey

Got back in from a great Jupiter trip and heard the news. Congratulations to coach Taylor and to Daniel. This is a great addition to the Mars Hill program.

    Presnell

Devin Presnell is worth the price of admission, and even at 5'7" and that lanky frame I'd want him on my side in a battle.

Devin Presnell is a fighter. That's all there is to it. He wants to win and he doesn't care what his body looks like after it's over. He hit over .450 last year for Watauga with more than 20 doubles, and he can field with the best of them. The quickness that his hands possess might hurt your eyes...so.
I'm anxious to see where and when he starts playing in his career at Mars Hill. I wish him the best of luck
