    Undefeated

Congratulations to the Southeast Patriots who went undefeated with a 12-0 record to win the conference. The Team won the Tournament in a 5-1 win over Erwin. Winning Pitcher will return next year. Coach Miller did a great job with the Team.

    Which High Schools

Southeast Middle feeds South, East, West Rowan, Salisbury and the newly opened Carson High School with the majority of students feeding into Carson.

    J M Robinson 6 Crestdale 3

Congratulations to the Robinson Chargers softball team for clinching the Southern Conference championship with a hard-fought victory over the Crestdale Wildcats! The final score was 6-3, but the first few innings were all Crestdale. Down 3-0, the Chargers never gave up and finally came alive at the plate in the top of the third inning. Taylor Lynch led off the inning with a base hit to right field. Melody Nesbit followed with her second hit of the game, and Somer Cronley walked to load the bases with one out. Third baseman Stephanie Wood, a clutch power hitter all year, hit a double that drove in two runs. Then Kendyl Messer delivered a huge hit to right field for two more RBIs. Katie Strickland followed with a one-run double to cap off the six-run inning. Pitcher Somer Cronley had another stellar performance and held the Wildcats scoreless in their last two at-bats. She struck out nine batters and only walked one. The Chargers' record improved to 13 wins and 0 lossess with one make-up game remaining. Way to go, Chargers, for an awesome season!

    Congratulations JM Robinson Chargers

The Chargers undefeated untied season became official after a rainout against South Charlotte today! 13-0 this season and undefeated last year with 2 ties. What an outstanding record for this 8th grade class that heads to Ardrey Kell and Providence HS's next year.
