    Sean Madden to Lenoir-Rhyne

    Durham Jordan's Sean Madden has signed on to play baseball at Lenoir-Rhyne next season. Sean is a 6' 5" RHP/1B with a mid 80's fb, excellent defensive 1st baseman and hits for a high average (.391). And, I might add, a straight "A" student. Congratulations to Sean, Sherman and Vicki. Very dedicated baseball family. Congrats Sherman and Vicki, ya'll have raised a fantastic young man.

    Good luck Sean! I still have your picture in my office holding up that trophy when you were 8 years old!!! woot-woot!

    BEST of LUCK to Sean Madden

    I really enjoyed last summer getting to know Sean and Sherman. Congratulations to Sean he is an outstanding athlete with a competitive streak a mile wide. My son really enjoyed catching him. Sean has great projectibility and should have a great career at LRC.

    Olefty--- pulled off another coup!!! Sean is an awesome kid and excellent pitcher, he projects out really well. He will fit in great there!! I am proud to have had the opportunity to coach him with the Copperheads this summer, and it is an honor to take the field against him as an opponent (as long as he is not on the bump or at the plate :astrosmiley: ). Good luck to Sean and his family!!

    Way to Go Sean!
    Lenoir Ryhne is getting a good one. Sean has tremendous projectability.
    Sean is an extrememly hard worker, great student & especially great young man. Sean was the first player to welcome my son back to the Copperheads when he returned from an injury. I really enjoyed watching Sean perform over this past year. I cant wait to see him after he spends some time with the great coaches at Lenoir Ryhne.

    Congratulations Sean, Sherman & Vicki!

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to Sean.

    My son Jerrod Moore has battled against Sean for the last three years and Sean is a very tough competitor!!!! Man I am so excited to see him going to L-R and will be a great addition to the BEARS!!!! And Sean and his parents are outstanding folks!!!
    Hey ncsu82....tell the Madden family to get in touch with me and Jerrod if they have any questions. And tell them we are not far away and Sean and Jerrod can ride together next year and save gas!!!!!

    Hail, Hail to the Madden family. I believe Sean will love it in Da Bear's Land.

    I have a funny suspicion that Mark Tarleton, moving his temporary residence to the Madden's house, may have played a part in all of this...he's sneaky like that.
