    Forbush 64, Alexander Central 56

    Forbush 14 15 15 20 - 64 Alexander 13 11 19 13 - 56

    Forbush (1-0): Hannah Allgood 19, Brock 2, Abby Munn 16, Candace Schellenberg 12, Sloan 6, Logan 9.

    Alexander (0-1): Lauren Dickenson 15, Brittany Loudermilt 10, Meghan Huffman 11, Roberts 4, Robertson 6, Chapman 7, Johnson 3

Word has it that Alexander is much improved - I know that Forbush has a quality team with some pretty good players.

Reagen beat Atkins really bad also - not sure what the score was

Reynoldsrocks said earlier in the week that the game would likely be moved back because of the football playoffs...

    Butler

Butler played without their starting Point guard - Jessica Freeman, as she is nursing a sparined ankle. She is a difference maker and has no real back up.

Butler could not get in any half court offense because the pressure applied by the West Charlotte defense. Butler had NUMEROUS turnovers that led to easy, uncontested lay ups.

Butler will be much better when the Jessica returns. With that being said, they only have 2 returning starters from last year and it will take a while for this team to develop their personality.

Well, If I remember correctly, wasn't Ashton Ward one of their main players from last year? I did not see her name in the box score. She signed to play softball at Tennesse, so maybe she gave up basketball? I'm not sure, just asking if this is the case.
