    And every now and then one of those teams that has no business even being in the playoffs makes a miraculous run to the western finals.....NW Cabarrus.Cinderella is still alive.

    I do agree that there shouldn't be nearly as many teams in the playoffs, but until there's a law that says you can't charge admission to get into a football game we'll have to live with it the way that is. I think a change we have a better chance of seeing would be that everybody makes the playoffs. That would give a school that never makes it beyond the regular season a chance to make a little extra money. You never know you might have a team, like a Cherryville, that had the ball bounce the wrong way in a couple regular season games, breakthrough and win a couple playoff games.
