One of the really quirky things that happened last year was that Freedom swept Roberson in their two meetings, while Roberson swept McDowell. Then in the conference McDowell swept Freedom.

The Lady Titans go over the 100 point mark 2 games in row. This score could have been alot worse. The Titans had 4 freshman on the floor alot tonight.

SC did beat West Caldwell again tonight. Parham had a lot of different combinations on the floor and keep the game much closer then last week. It looks to me like SC may struggle in the conference this year but I'll be pulling for the all the way

Just got a call, I hear FHS beat Roberson by 4 pts tonight...my source says Ford had around 30 and Freedom trailed most of the first 3 quarters but Ford took over the 4th.
    Anyone got details?

Watauga loses again. This time to Avery 61-47. The ship is sinking fast for the Lady Pioneers. Looks like the girls have lost all confidence in themselves and their coach. I hate to say it, but looks like they might be in trouble unless they start believing.

I am shocked by the ACR score.

    Freedom- TCR

This was a TOUGH played game... a couple of techs on both sides and very physical play was the name of the game. I don't call people out but TCR has one girl that showed very poor sportsmanship the whole game.. even got in a couple of cheap shots the refs missed, but thats all i have to say about that. Now for the game.. it was a battle for Freedom... seems like they would get within 4 then trail by 10 till about 1/2 way thru the 3rd. Yes Ali keyed things but it wasnt a one trick pony out there. What impressed me was the defense and the heart Freedom showed to get back into the game. One person that had the best game i have seen from her was Laura Chapman.. she done alot of the dirty work on the block... rebounds, defense, tying up loose balls. She even got her share of points. Everyone stepped it up as they should have.. the seniors showed leadership, the sophs are getting better and better and Chelsea didnt have her best game but she is going to be special. It was a blast to watch, the crowd was into it, the girls was flying all over the place and it was just really hard played basketball.
