NW4A Pick'em: Week 1

    Well...here we go. Conference play begins this week in the Northwestern 4A Conference which means its time for the 3rd Annual TBR NW4A Pick'em Contest. Those who have signed up to play include...

    Rules are pretty simple...the object of the contest is to predict the final score of all the NW4A Conference Games.

    You receive one point from predicting the winner
    You receive three points for predicting winner and margin of victory (+- 5 pts)
    You receive five points for predicting winner and actual score

    ***One added bonus to this years scoring, and the reason why I added this feature is because I see the potential of there being a lot of close games this season...therefor the need to be accurate in your picks could reward you in bonus points.

    You will receive a bonus point if you can accurately predict all three games in one night within the five point margin.***

    As always, I will update the standings on late friday/early Saturday mornings each week and will have the next week's games posted by the Sunday Night/Monday morning timeframe...


    Here are the NW4A games scheduled for this week, (Pick'em Contest Games listed in bold print)


    Tuesday Dec 12th:

    Freedom @ Asheville
    McDowell @ R-S Central
    Avery @ Watauga
    South Caldwell @ West Lincoln
    Alex. Central @ West Iredell

    Wednesday Dec 13th:

    East Rutherford @ East Burke
    AC Reynolds @ Enka
    Freedom @ Owen


    Friday Dec 15th:

    McDowell @ Alex. Central
    South Caldwell @ Watauga
    AC Reynolds @ East Burke
    Charlotte Christian @ Freedom


    Picks for the friday games are due by Friday at Noon. Let the fun and games begin...

    Thanks, I think this will be fun. I also think this year in the NW4A there could be some surprise games, just depending on which team shows up on what night.
    Any way here goes:

    McDowell 85 - Alexander 34
