    Fred Landford has over 500 wins and numerous conference titles and conference tournament titles. He was the baseball coach for Hudson High and South Caldwell high School after Hudson closed in 78. Coach Landford built the tradition that South Caldwell and Caldwell County enjoys today. Coach Parham has done a great job at South Caldwell carrying on the tradition but make no mistake Landford raised the bar of baseball tradition at South Caldwell. With South Caldwell's dominance on the baseball diamond IT has made Hibriten and West Caldwell build a baseball tradition and you have to give credit to Landford for raising the bar for the whole county. Look at the years that South Caldwell has qualified for the state tournament, they're sitting on 22 straight now. anybody know how many total?

    Record books show since 1980

    NCHSAA record books show 24 since 1980, second only to Greenville Rose's 25. NOT BAD AT ALL!

    Sure would like to see another State Championship added to their records in 2007. Could be an interesting year!!!

    Kirk Goodson at West Stokes is an incredible baseball coach... great things on the horizon for that program

    Best H.S. Coach Dale Ijames!!!

    I had the privelege of playing for him during the early 90's . He was the best hands on practical, fundamental coach I have played for. I fondly remember him staying with me after practice to help hone my skills at turning 2.
