McDowell over Freedom, 79-63, I think was the final.

 

I believe that was the score,Kelsey Greene lead the Lady Titans with 23 points. Ali Ford finished with 30,she is a great scorer. What a crowd at the Titan Dome tonight. I would say there was at least 3,500 in the stands. I know it sure was hot in there. The staff needs to get some air stiring in that gym when they have a crowd that big.

A good win for the Lady Titans tonight. It was also good to see that Kelsey has found her shot once again. She has struggled the last couple of weeks with her outside shooting and it was great to see her nail all those 3's. If she can continue to shoot the way she did tonight the Lady Titans should win the conference. The Lady Titans held Ali down in the 1st half (I think she only had 6 or 8 points). But in the second half she took control for Freedom.

 

8 pt game with 3 minutes left so, scores a little skewed. Mcdowell holds the ball and FHS fouls. FHs misses a couple chance to get to 5.
Much like the game at FHS but opposite last 3 min.
Ford has 30 (10 & 20) Difference was this time McDowell hit the perimeter shots, big dan said everything FHS THrew up went in in last game , well reverse that and u have MCdowells - 3 shooting tonight. I think they hit 8 the first half???? Best shooting game of Greenes career I'll bet.
Ford was best player on floor- Washington pts are still comin from the inside only and I just don't see her playing college ball at that position.
Ironic is last game Wash. gets 30 Mcdowell loses...this time Ford goes for 30 and they lose. This match up isn't so much about these 2 that's for sure. I believe I saw a Carolina scout there...not sure.

 

yep this game was almost the complete role reversal of the Christmas tourney game. McDowell had the hot game shooting that and was a big determining factor in the game.

These comments you keep saying about Washington though keep me scratching my head...first off Kurie, if she plays at the next level won't be playing down low like she does in Mike's system, she'll be a 2-guard. These comments about "everything still coming from the inside" really holds no value when it comes to the colleges. Ali did her fair share of layup's tonight as well as far as that goes, McDowell did a very good job at putting a hand in her face on the perimeter. And BTW, you are correct that was Carolina in the house tonight.

 

whs 96-achs-95 in ot!!!!!!!! ac had a 16 pt lead at the half. i was told that #10 shot the eyes out of it for whs.

I heard that the boys game was 96-95 in ot. Is this the girls score too??
