My point exactly>>>>She isn't playing where she'll have to in college...so would she be prepared to play at the 2 in college??..i just don't think she shoots it good enough from the perimiter...her force is getting to the basket, IMO -if i'm a scout I want to see what you can do from where I'm gonna play ya...wheras Ford is where she'll always be...that's all I meant by that-I think she's a great High school player.
Home court was an advantage, especially to shooters who are more comfortable in their building...so the next one (at FHS)could be epic.

Not to get argumentitive, but Washington is a good shooter from the perimeter, but just like Ford, if you can drive by 'em and lay it in, you should. Oh, and by the way, the scouts would have to like the fact that, as a guard, she can get in there and scrap for rebounds (offensive, too), and draw fouls on the putbacks.

    GO HEELS!

I see ya point, but you have to admit that most of her rebounds are her own Missed shots. College size will not allow this at d1 level, and the 3 games I have seen there have been NO perimiter makes. So shooting is suspect-- but she can outrun ya down the floor!--JMO

ALEXANDER BEATS WHS IN WOMEN'S PLAY....

The Cougars beat WHS 54-45 last night. It's the first time the Cougars have beaten WHS since the 2003 season, and they first time they've ever beaten WHS in their new building. As I think, and correct me if I'm wrong. I think this is Alexander Central's first NW4A win in three years. I really don't remember them beating anyone else in the league, and until last night, WHS had won six in a row against the Cougars. Meghan Huffman paced Central with 19 points.

Washington didn't have her best game of the year last night, but her shooting is far from suspect. She can shoot the ball, she can take it to the rim, and she can overpower people. Will she be good enough for high level D1? I'm not really sure, but as far as most rounded I would take her as the best in the conference. Ford is probably the best scorer, but Kurie can score, defend and rebound.

First NW4A win for coach Nikki Setzer. She is doing a good job. 4 wins so far this year, that's 3 more than all of last season. At least the girls are competing.

It is a said day when WHS lets AC get thier 1st conference win in 4 years. What was the coach thinking starting a completely new 5 players? Not that it caused them to lose but may have caused confidence problems with the regular starters. They did not seem to play very well when they came in.

Oh well, I wonder how long people are going to be satisfied with 3-4 win seasons? I don't seem them winning more than that this year. It's tme for a change at WHS.

But, congrats to AC and their new coach. She has them improved from last year and we are worse!

    He can't win either way

man, no matter what the coach does he gets trashed . All I hear is the ladies have no heart or dont care.. well he starts other players and you trash him for that as well. I am all for POSITIVE comments but if all your wanting is to find fault with the team or the coach then maybe you need to look step back and remember its just a bunch of teenagers playing a game. I know if i was the coach the last person i would take advice from is someone who constantly trashes everything being done. I hope they turn it around but that would make them over-achivers right?
