Just got the call, I didn't get to attend so don't know any stats, but I was told McDowell was up 2 at half.

Very strange game, Freedom led by as much as 22 in the 2nd quarter. Ford hit everything she shot, Then Freedom went cold at the start of the third and just couldn't get back on track. Great win for EB though. Freedom boys won 65-55 I think.

    (According to the Asheville Citizen-Times)

2 pt. game at half. Then McDowell came out strong in the second half. Hamilton lead the lady titans with 18 pts and Brinkley had 26 for Reynolds.

    McDowell........78
    ACR...............54

I would say Kelsea Greene and Ebonique Hamilton led the scoring. Autumn Ward would be in double figures with three 3 pointers included. Kurie was frustrated with some physical D, but I'm sure was also in double figures.

It was 30-28 McDowell at the half, but it didn't last long as the second half was all Lady Titans.

Fightin Titan is right, Brinkley played very well!

OK, so they went cold. Did they stop playing defense? I would like to see the quarter by quarter score on this one.

    Freedom- 25-19-9-15= 68

    East Burke- 13-15-22-30= 80

Some of the 4th qtr points were due to fouling but yea, we quit playing defense and running the floor.

Ford had -34 , no one else in double figures. Conley and Connelly played well for Freedom. East Burke outplayed us in the 2nd half.
