Thanks rcbbfan....I got to see Nick play while he was playing for Impact. Hope he gets a shot at starting at 3B.

Addison Johnson is projected to leadoff and play LF for Clemson and Josh Thrailkill should see considerable action on the mound.

Addison was very impressive in the fall and seems to have fully recovered from his knee surgery. He'll create a lot of problems at the top of the lineup. Clemson has outstanding team speed and an excellent defense to go along with the power of D'Alessio, Smith and Harbin. DJ Mitchell (Addison's teammate at N. Forsyth) and Will Boyd will share time in RF. Josh and Graham Stoneburner (an ex Dirtbag) both have a chance to contribute on the mound.

    WNCBB-

I was just wondering how you knew about Addison starting and playing Left. That's super exciting but I was wondering if you knew a website I could check out with the lowdown....

also wondering how you heard about ackley and seager at Carolina

    olefty,

You can go to Baseball America's college preview on baseballamerica.com, Collegiate Baseball, or Perfect Game's preview to get projected lineups. Baseball America is previewing the ACC this Thursday on their website. It also helps to have a son on the team.... I talk to Josh a couple times a week, so I get a pretty good idea about how things are going. I don't know about Ackley and Seager. That was someone elses post, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them starting at NC. They are both outstanding players.

    Thank you

Also, I didn't realize Josh was your son. He is a great pitcher. I enjoyerd watching him pitch the past few years. I hope he has an excellent career for the tigers. Thanks for the heads up on the college baseball websites

I was the one who mentioned Dustin Ackley and Kyle Seager.

My comment came from two sources: (1) conversations with my son, who is a teammate of theirs, and (2) a recent article about UNC's team on sebaseball.com.

:brickwall: You didn't mention me as a source

...and watch for Drew Poulk, also! He may not start, but he will become a factor as the season goes on
