    Not sure what your deal is with Coach Turner, but speaking from the side of personally knowing him I'd say other than Harper there isnt a better candidate for the job. I've seen him after wins be so upset b/c he feels like he could have done a better job to get the offense to run more efficient....He takes every win/loss to heart and he cares....esp about his QBs....he was really high on Russell this year.

    The above post sounds a bit like sour grapes to me but i am fairly certian that Deal would say he couldnt have done it without Coach Turner running the offense.

    If you look at where the team has come from in 6 yrs you have to think that Deal was apart of the success but the coaching staff he surrounded himself with is also just as important.

    You guys presume that Turner is staying at ACHS.... don't you think Deal offered him a position at Lexington? Would that not make sense?

    Coach Harper should have first chance if it wants it, Hes a good person and loves the kids.

    You might be right rams 42, and anybody that has been to a cougar football game (last few years) knows we have won with DEFENSE!!!!!! Not a problem with that, just saying!!!!!!
