Hey, What with all the dissing of John Hendricks. He's a great guy and according to his bio on the L-R Baseball website,(where is is the pitching coach) guy was an AA and MVP of the 98 ACC tourny. Also had a 33-0 legion record.

Ragsdale plays 2/17 vs. Lee County in a scrimmage plus 1-2 more. We go down to Wilson on March 3 to play C B Aycock and then start up with Southeast on Tuesday.

Most likely you and I know each other. I work on those fields with many others from time to time. Putting in the new backstop or the new warning track. I think the next project is covering the batting cages and getting rid of those timbers behind the bleachers.

The boys are practicing hard and have been training hard in the off-season on their own. Pitchers/catchers worked in December and 8 man's are going now. Not sure how the pitching will be this year. They're young except for one kid. I think they will be good the next 3 years after this year. Just not sure about this year.

 

I know most kids in the area pretty well. I have one son who plays for Ragsdale and one in a private christian school in High Point. Never heard of this kid but I'll ask around. I'll be with the Weslyan and High Point Chrisrtian coaches this weekend along with the Maness boys. Never even heard of Tri County. Maybe down near Trinity. You going to the basketball game tonight?

 

Impact Baseball is not for everyone. Madison Bumgarner is the real deal.

and oh yeah - the latest on our friend the young phenom Connor Lance is that I can't even get an autograph. His dad won't let him handle an ink pen lest it damage his magnificent pitching hand. He even gets to use a lap top at school - hope he doesn't get carpel tunnel syndrome before he makes it to the show.

 

Tough loss last night. I went mostly out of respect for baker.

Ragsdale had the better athletes but Trinity had the better team. I like Ragsdale's new coach. We'll be fine.

I got an email from someone on John Hendricks. I think Braves sent it to me. I do not even know John Hendricks or where he is. I think someone thought I said something bad about the guy but I don't even know him nor did I even comment. In fact on another site I am much more active with I post under my real name and even include my email address on every posts. It helps keep you from saying something you shouldn't.

 

Nope, not from me...but be careful of that Wossa fella. He ain't right!
