This game got nasty at the end when Terrance went in for a slam and was taken out by an East Burke player. After the play they were double techs called and alot of talking going on. Of course the 3 refs had no control over the game. 1 ref was 15 years old and another ref was about 4 foot tall and the last on was just there to watch the game.

WHS guys lost 80-78. Led the entire game. Lost it with 4 minutes to go. Albert Anderson hit a shot with 6 seconds left to give WHS the boot.

Mitchell Harris had 26 points and 17 rebounds. JR Archer had 26 and 7 while Alan Herndon had 11 boards. Zach Green had 8 points and 8 assists.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
ACR was led by Albert Anderson who scored 29 and DJ Clement with 28 (despite only playing the last 3 quarters), DJ sat out the 1st quarter as a punishment (not sure for what).

ACR was down 11 heading into the 4th quarter and put 28 points on the board to pull out the win.

Dosen't McDowell's win last night and Watauga's loss gives the Titans a share of the Conference Championship?

It's pretty pathetic when you have to request a couple Burke County officers to attend the game. The hatred between McDowell and East Burke has come to that level and everybody who knows both programs knows exactly what caused this to happen. I never thought I would say this but to see what I saw last night from the players, coaches and everybody else makes former East Burke coach and AD Robbie Bliss look like a saint.

The game last night set offensive basketball back 30 years...

It is a shame what is going on at East Burke-and it certainly is not reflective of the school or a lot of folks over there. It is certainly true that one or two bad apples can spoil the whole bunch.
