    okay...what do you guys think? Who would you list?

    1. South Caldwell
    2. Scotland County
    3. West Forsyth
    4. Fuquay Varina
    5. AC Reynolds
    6. Rose
    7. Providence
    8. Davie County
    9. Weddington
    10. Myers Park- this will be the surprise team this year

    I wish Jere Morton would post and give us a preview of the Raleigh area schools. There is too much talent for there not to be other schools...like Garner.

    #1- South Caldwell
    #2- West Forsyth
    #3- AC Reynolds
    #4- Fuquay Varina
    #5- Scotland County

    I just feel that the best three teams in the state are out west this year. Fuquay and Scotland County in my opinion will be the teams to beat in the East. In my opinion the top three from the west would be favored over anyone coming out of the east this year. But that is why we play the games because you never know.

    You are probably right, but there is so much good competition in the west, they will beat up each other. I listed Scotland 2nd out of courtesy as reigning Champs. I really, really like Coach Pope's squad at West Forsyth, but they play in a very tough conference.

    and Greenville Rose is due to be great again.

    Middle Creek

    Middle Creek will be very good again this year. I do not see Wakefield in the top 10. Very young and I dont see the arms or bats to be considered a top 10 type team this year. Coach Thompson at Middle Creek could have a squad that will break through this season. It should be alot of fun when they hook up with Fuquay this season in conference play. Fuquay made it to the state finals last year with several of their top players unavailable. Both of these teams will be very good.

    I just can't see Scotland Cty being a top ten team this year. They lost the heard and soul of the championship team. Only one and a half starters returning that I can remember and none of the key pitchers. Bridgman has a very good arm but remains to be seen if he is a top of the order guy. I don't see them winning the MSEC.

    I know you have to play the games and "on paper" means nothing...but until the games are played I just don't see anyone being ahead of South Caldwell:

    1. South Caldwell
    2. AC Reynolds
    3. West Forsyth
    4. Fuquay Varina
    5. Davie County
    6. Providence
    7. Middle Creek
    8. Scotland County
    9. Rose
    10. Myers Park (agree, think they suprise some people)

    Y'all do know that Scotland County is returning only one starter from last years team. In my opinion, Pinecrest and Richmond will be ahead of them in their conference this year. So, they won't be anywhere near the top 10 in the state. But then again, on any given time the worst team can beat the best team. This happen twice in the state last year. South Caldwell had the better team but they lost two in a row. Who would have thought after the 1st game!

    Superwright....agree 100%. I'm with Braves that Scotland County gets props as reigning champs. With all the talent in the state we will all probably be wrong and update our predictions early in the season.:trampoline:

    All of these guesses are only that.. you never know what "new" players will have significant impact on a team...
