With Hobbs out for SC beating Fredom wil be a challenge. The defense will keep them in the game and if they shoot the ball like they did last night SC will have a chance; but a slim one

The Monday games don't get my attention all that much but a possible Reynolds/East Burke matchup Wednesday on a neutral court...that's one that could be really interesting.

I just dont think ACR can beat East Burke in the tourney. I know they are coming off a win over McDowell but I just don't think Elizabeth Ross will let them have this one.

Maybe I am basing my opionon off of the 2 games I saw ACR play this year. Both were vs Watauga and ACR played them the closest WHS faced all year. ACR frankly looked horrid when I saw them in Asheville. However they hopefully have turned the corner.

I finished so bad last week, I might as well give this a shot.

    1st Round
    East Burke 63 - Watauga 50
    Reynolds 65 - Alex. Cent. 48
Freedom 61 - South Cald. 50 (This could go either way if Hobbs plays)

    Semi-Finals
    McDowell 81 - Freedom 65
    East Burke 73 - Reynolds 64

    Championship
    East Burke 78 - McDowell 77

Hey, I had to go with the my home team in the last pick of the season. Don't count the Cavs out just because of a loss to Freedom. They played McDowell very tough at the Titan Dome last time. Like I've said before; It just depends on which team shows up.

I'm not gonna pick any of today's games because I feel like the higher seeds will win...I'm just looking forward to a possible Reynolds/East Burke matchup in the semis. By watching both teams play McDowell, I'm suprised in the fact that Reynolds has lost to East both times. What exactly does East have that makes them better than Reynolds? Would love some insight from both the Reynolds and East Burke fans? Also, could playing a neutral court end up being a factor?
