West Charlotte (MECA-6) is the #1 seed that South Caldwell would play in the opening round...South at 14-10 has the best record of all the Wild Card teams.

To be honest, I like your chances in three of those first round matches if those matchups were to occur.

Think I read where Forestview beat East Gaston Friday night? Don't know if that might upset any apple carts?

It would have no bearing on East Gaston...since that conference is a 3a/4a split, they just take the top record from the class, and not overall conference record.

keep in mind that conf tourney seed ing has NO bearing on Playoff seeding.
If 2 teams are tied- say FHS and ACR and go out in the same round of tourney then either you have a play-in game (which was done last time Mcdowell hosted tourney) or you agree to a coin flip.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
However IF someone other then the #1 seed wins the conference tournament (i.e. Freedom or ACR), then that team would move up to the #2 seed for the playoffs and the other teams would drop down a seed.

:twocents: the fact that Crest hosts a playoff game is absurd...I think the NCHSAA needs to tweak things up because I feel they are giving the split classification conferences a little too high priority :twocents:

Anyway, I still feel like we can possibly get three wins in the first round
