    Sectional 2:

    NW Guilford @ High Point Central

    Freedom split two games with crest during the regular season and I think FHS has greatly improved since then i feel the game will be close but unlike Cresdt Freedom actually takes defense seriously

    I think the NW4A has a legit shot in two of the first round games (Freedom and McDowell). South Caldwell, East Burke and Watauga would probably require some crazy things happening...

    I think you are right Big Dan. Bylooking at the brackets, I think McDowell will be the only men's team from the NW4-A to make it to a sectional final.

    Boy I wish I was as confident as you in saying that we can make it to a sectional final...the history of our conference against the Charlotte schools dosen't favor us. If we can make it past Providence, then we're playing a very good Butler squad with one of the best players in Charlotte (Demontez Stitt). Do not let the Butler record deceive you...

    Saying all of that, this is the best McDowell team in quite a while and this is one of those years where the Charlotte teams will have to come ready to play...and not win on athleticism alone.

    I think that the only team that has a good shot is McDowell to win in the first round. The rest would be upsets in my book.

    FHS over crest would only be an upset in the seeding. But FHS has already proven it can beat this one man team.

    Providence High beat East Meck. once this year, so the Titans better be ready to play. They also beat Butler this year.
