Normally we drum out celebrities during our fund drive, you know, like The Tams, The 4 Tops and The Temptations but we thought with our own celebrities like Prepster, Original, Southloop and others, we would save costs this year. Braves

If you are talking about Joe Pope and The Mighty Mighty Tams from Atlanta Georgia and the same Tams that have Horace and Harold backing up Joe and the same "Go away Little Girl" Tams as in OD and shagging and slipping in Atlantic Beach to watch them play and waiting in line at The Beach Club to watch the best show band on earth then it would have been nice if you could have drummed them out.

But, I guess Prepster, Original and Southloop and the "others" you speak of will have to do. They a dance band or a show band?

 

...Yeah, we were, but Larry said he never heard of them...so they were cut...(he ain't learned to shag yet)

Oh...and Prepster, Original and Southloop are comediens...but they are pretty good dancers

I may have taken the initiative to start this Forum, but what makes this Forum work is NCBaseballfan and all the time he puts into it....and all the great info from the moderators from the different areas of the State...rc, Mudcat and NC-Dad

It's much better than waiting until the next morning for the Observer to come to get all the latest up to date scores and...there is just so much more info to be found here on our local teams than you could ever hope for in the Observer?!? I also enjoy sharing whatever info I have to offer with regard to high school baseball to the other TBR readers/posters as well!

Wow...it has almost been 4 years ago that I posted this, but the times have not changed.

C'mon guys/gals...let's continue to keep this board from pops ups, snap-ons, pull-ups and all of the other aggravating advertisements. We need your help and support to keep building TBR into the next year.
