Ellis was a good coach and an overall good person but his teams were also undiscplined as well but I don't think you can blame the coach on that in every instance. Watching the effort level that Crest gives on some possessions would drive me crazy if I was a fan or a coach. I do think that was an interesting call made by Coach Wall to go into the stall with over 5 minutes to go and the score tied. All he wanted to do is to call Church's bluff and see if they would change to a particular defense.

At this point, I wouldn't expect to see a 2-1 anything. The folks that are going to the game are going to the game. And the truth is, this is still a football county right now in the eyes of many.

What year is the big man for McDowell? Crest never had han answer for him. Dan is right about the effort. Also I don't understand having Toms bring the ball up. He just didn't look comfortable with it and you had Bruce Smith in the backcourt with him. Seems Smith would have been a better choice vs the trap that McDowell was using.

Anyway, a fun game to watch, and the McDowell fans were certainly loud. Congrats on the win and goodluck the rest of the way.
