    Good win for Swain to start the season. I knew they were gonna be tough to handle this year, everybody back. Get to see them 1st hand next week.

    I agree, it was a quality win. The Sabres committed only one error and to me, that's why they won the game. They executed very well. Catholic had more hits, but they were spread out and couldn't do anything when they had the chance. Coppedge struggled (threw a ton of pitches) in the first inning, but settled down and was in control from there. Mann pitched very solid in relief. While the Sabres had less hits than Catholic, they bunched them together to make something happen. Great call from Coach J, ..... runners on first and second, one out, Ben Barton lays down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move the runners into scoring position, the next batter ropes a bases clearing hit to open things up. All in all, a good start for Coach J and company.:woot:

    Coach Mannele is now at TC Roberson. Been there since school started this year .
