Very little and what is there doesn't resemble fastpitch softball. Softball in caldwell county is falling off a little. We used to have a pretty good travel team program but the guy doing that for several years has retired and no one with his knowledge and commitment has stepped up to carry on. hopefully someone new will come along and get us going again

RS looked slow at bat in the first inning and EB senior pitcher held them down to one run. Then EB brought in freshman pitcher who showed good control of the ball but the slower speed was soon caught on by RS who got their bats going. EB scored a hard fought for run but was unable to get anymore. RS had strong pitching and pretty solid infield. EB had some defensive errors that allowed runners to score. In the end it was EB-1 RS-6.

This year for the first time, we will field teams in all age groups , 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, what we try to do is to use only player that will attend SC, now this is not alway the case as we will fill in at needed spots.
Our 10 and under team has been working out for about a month, the 12 & 14 under have there first workouts scheduled for this weekend , 16 and under will not start up until school ball is finished.

Where did you get that impression from. what I here from the gang up there things aren't running so smooth. SC has had a great program over the last 7 or 8 years so I guess we will see after the season how she is doing. They sure have the talent to win.
