    There have been a lot of rumors about the East Burke basketball program as of late-any EB Fans able to give some info? You can PM me if you don't want to say anything on here.

    hope the camera didn't infringe someones rights in the locker room.

    I hate to take a cheap shot at a coach but I cant refuse. Anderson didnt impress me at all. I thought he did not disipline his boys well at all. Watching them play McDowell you could see this very clearly. It's going to be very hard to find a coach as good as Bliss was for EB but good luck to them.

    Very true,I believe Bliss still has his team in the playoffs over at West Henderson. As for Anderson:urfired:

    Actually West Henderson lost last night in the Regional Semi's to Starmount 77-55. However Bliss did do a heck of a job with that team at West Henderson this year (one of the best coaching jobs in WNC in my opinion). As for Anderson...all I can say is WOW.

    Coach Anderson was a young coach who was put in a tough situation. Those players were hard to handle on and off the court. IMO East burke players dont play with alot of pride anymore. I think they may be a little spoiled to have those kind of facilites and not play any harder than they do is a shame. When i played at East Burke it was honor a privledge to wear the jersey. Now the kids seem to play with chip on there shoulder.

    I will agree with you on one thing...Billy Anderson did have some kids on that team that I wouldn't get within a half-mile of because they're just plain crazy. On the otherhand I've seen Anderson stand there beside one of those kids and act just as immature as the fruits he coached, so all in all I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for the man...cookies anyone? (only the McDowell folks will know what that means)
