David Coffey a sophomore pitched a 1 hit CG shutout to get the win for the Tigers.
I thought he had a no hitter but apparently he gave up a single in the first inning. Jason Wallace got the RBI on a bases loaded single in the 7th. Ragsdale kept hitting it where they were most of the game. Loaded the bases twice without getting a run in.

Big game tomorrow in Wilson against CB Aycock. I don’t expect Ragsdale’s ace Catlin Carter to pitch with a big conference opener at SE Guilford looming on Tuesday. Ragsdale 2-0 on the season now.

Wossa......I think TBA - for a moment - had a flashback of high school pitching greatness.

Alas, the "David Coffey" he remembered was a scrappy little fella who played a long....long....long....time ago!:cucumber:

Southern- I know it was only one game, but what are your thoughts on both Rose and RM?
