The coaches association is listing all scores that are sent in (http://ncfastpitch.org/wordpress/?page_id=18). Its a great record of the season as it progresses. Please make sure your scores are being sent to them. If your coach is not sending in your scores, get with him/her and volunteer to be the one to make sure it gets done. Send them to [email protected]. There's no need to send any game details other than the score. Don't duplicate, only one contact person should send them in.

Its also a good idea for your contact person to email your results to the major newspapers. They like to get line scores (inning by inning) with final score, hits, and errors along with pitcher/catcher names and team record. They'll print the names of the major offensive contributors. Contact them to see exactly how they want you to send it in.

Getting game results out there for people to see helps our game.

 

What happened to the score ticker that used to run across the top of the page? It sure was nice to see, & alot of people are missing it.

 

I prefer the score page-you don't have to wait for your score to scroll across the page-maybe we can have both.

Ticker?

Back a few months ago, our website at NCFSCA crashed in very bad way. We lost everything that was listed on the site. We have been trying to bring our site back up to speed and date and are almost there. However, with our new site the "ticker" is not available. We decided to go with he Scoreboard that has worked pretty well to this point. It would be wonderful if all schools would send in their scores. The Scoreboard idea will allow everyone to go back and check on scores of certain days. The ticker had a max out load. I agree that having someone from the school, parent, or designee to send in scores is a great idea. It is an easy process. Scores that are sent to [email protected] by 11 pm will be on the Scoreboard the next morning. Sorry about the loss of the ticker. I have had numerous emails asking where it was and all I can do is apologize for its absence. Please send your scores in and we will do our very best to get them up and keep everyone informed with information that we receive. Thanks!
