Was a great game to watch!!!

Congrats to Person and Coach Evans and Elliott Tolley. Elliott pitched one of his best games I have ever seen and the defense played well behind him!! Northern played a excellent game also under new Coach Shankle. They are very well coached and prepared. Tyler Robinson pitched a excellent game also for Northern. This was a nail biter to watch but a very well played game on both sides! Good luck to both teams and GO ROCKETS!!!

West Forsyth defeated RJR last night in a CPC game at Reynolds 16-3. The Titans were led by the pitching of Wesley McBride and Joel Morrow. Offensively Greg Holt led the way going 3-4 with a 2- run homerun and 2 doubles. Chris Sanders went 2-3 a double and 2 RBI's. Reynolds was led by Earl Guill who went 1 for 3 with an rbi. West improves to 6-1 and 1-1 in the CPC. Reynolds goes to 0-6 and 0-3 in the conference. West will play home Friday vs. North Davidson. It will be an emotional night with the dedication of the new scoreboard for former player Erik Walker who drowned in October.

Few more numbers from the Crest 6 Forestview 4 game.

Crest is now 2-0 in Big South play and 5-2 overall. Forestview 0-1 6-2.

Quattlebaum had 3 hits with the walk off homer. Adam McFarland 2 hits. 8 different batters had hits for Crest.

Robinson-4 scorless innings for the win.

Crest will be at North Gaston on Friday.

Good Times right now for Charger fans and baseball. Undefeated Middle School team, undefeated JV's, and a very exciting Varsity team that seems to enjoy hitting the ball. Hope the excitement continues.

    Butler / Independence

    Butler 7 - Independence 4
Oatis starts the game for Butler and gets the win. Bollinger closes the last 2 innings and looked sharp.
Tewell, Smith, and Brewer all had a multi hit game. Every Butler batter had at least one hit, another good team win. Next game @ Myers Park on Friday.

    West Stanly/ East Rowan

East Rowan defeats West Stanly 10 to 2. Matt Large takes the loss for West Stanly. I don't have a lot of details as I got there late. I will give more when I have them.

    Save Maybe?

Good Question...With the score 6 to 1, two runners on base and you bring in a new pitcher. The two runners are the responsiblity of the previous pitcher this would bring the score within 3. In which, should be consider a "Save" opportunity.
Y'all please correct me if I'm not right!
