    What happened with Destiny Covington at Va. Tech. She's not on roster any longer?

    Would also like to know about the Destiny Covington VT roster absence, and another question:

    I noticed on the Central Cabarrus HS softball website there's a picture of several girls from the '06 class that had signed to play college ball, including one named Lauren Sparger to NCSU.

    I don't see her name listed on State's '07 roster on the gopack.com website. What was that situation?

    Lauren Sparger is attending NC State, she had several offers to play at smaller schools but chose to go to NC State, i think she was considering walking on but chose not too.

    Not sure way she isn't listed on the roster, but if you look at the stats, her name is there. Box score has her listed as a RF.

    I noticed her season stats have a "X" beside her name but it did not indicate what "X" was for.

    With an All American pitcher Angela Tincher they dont need many fielders at all, check out their record without Tincher pitching though.
