Considering North Henderson, projected to finish 3rd in our conference, just knocked off AC Reynolds tonite maybe I would like that schedule. Seems your teams might be down a little this year.

Now, now Mudcat. Actually, the SW4A is a little stronger this year. This may be the best Butler team since 2000-2001. Andrew Smith has the talent to blank every team he pitches against. The problem, as in every year, is that there are so many strong teams, that they beat up each other throughout the year. And the pitching matchups are the key.

The nonsense of AK facing 2nd and 3rd line pitchers is just that...nonsense.
I don't see the quantity of top line pitchers as years past, but the quantity of quality hitters is better than ever.

Providence may be the best HS hitting team I have ever seen in Charlotte. They are beasts.

and remember this. Audrey Kell was ranked 6 in the state. And all of their players were taken from the SM/Providence teams.

I try, but that dadgum RV won't crank. I'm trying to get dbacks to take some road trips. We may be heading up to South Caldwell Tuesday

And I would love to go to the friendly confines of West Henderson. But remember Mudcat. You guys are one of the best teams in the state...at any classification

A scrimmage!!!! You've got to be kidding!!! Are you serious. There is absolutely no comparison at all to real games and conference games vs scrimmages. You should be happy you tied(like it matters at all) because they'd stomp you in a regular game as would 6 of the SW4A teams. Tuesday will be Smith(UNCC) vs Mailman(Wake Forest). What you got!!!!

Well in a scrimmage you cannot go by the score but you can judge talent.

Mudcat, all I can tell you is that when you go from scrimmages to real games its just a whole different attitude and atmosphere. Then the jump from real games to conference games is another jump. How good Butler is will be determined in part on Tue, but they can hit the rock. You bet they can and when Smith is on the hill they can beat anyone.
