What a sandbagger.....you've got 3 pitchers that all throw 90's and are lead by senior Seth Grant; one of the best in the state. Not to mention the return of All State Mathew Pruitt and a 2nd ranking in the state......2-A my butt.

EDIT: oh...and this is about Kell vs Prov. Those people are going to hate how we got off topic.

As Braves said this is probably not the thread for these posts, but since it started here I'll put my two cents in.

I don't believe the first scrimmage of the year, on a cold February day, after just a few practices tells you much about a team's talent. It will tell you what improvements you have to make to get better or which players are closer to being game ready.

I'm sorry that you didn't have all your starters, that really doesn't matter. You play with the team you put on the field and if your "JV" team did well, then praise them. Save the "What If Factor" for Fantasy Baseball.

2A / 4A - Games are won and lost because of talent, fundamentals, heart and luck, not by how many total kids go to a school. I see no reason that a good 2A team can't be competitive against a 4A team. Again, praise them.

As far as "Why Butler is considered one of the top teams in the Charlotte area?" This isn't American Baseball Idol with a bunch of Butler people calling in to pad the vote. You'll have to ask the "so called experts", which I am not one. I have attended the games and see a calmness regardless of the situation, batters hitting top to bottom, quality pitching and good defense. The wins speak for themselves. They are not perfect and have room to improve, but then again who really wants to PEAK during a cold February scrimmage?

I apologize if you feel hammered!
