No argument from me 0509. Your son played well last night. I'm happy for the seniors that the team is doing well. I hope they have another special year. Good luck next week. Big three game stretch. One down.

This was an action packed game and it seemed as if the teams were playing at Coors Field how the ball was flyin outta there. 9 HOMERUNS! Thats incredible. Providence started hot with back to back homers from Shaffer to Mailman and another bomb later from Kaiser. But the Knights slowly cooled the Panthers offense down using basically their entire pitching staff. Just when AK looked to have some life in the fifth inning (when Nyenhuis homered off the black wall giving the Knights their first runs of the night) Shaffer shot them back down with his second homerun of the night, but his work was definitely not done yet. The next inning Zico Pasut chipped on another run with a homerun, but the Knights still looked down. The 7th INNING! Providence is up 10-3 and lookin to go home, but the Knights weren't done. With the help of 3 Providence errors, a walk, and a hit batter AK thought they had a game. Ryan Stetson hit a granslam to tie the game, but in came Richie Shaffer. He shut down the heart of the AK lineup striking out Akers, Darnell, Nyenhuis, and Miller. Then Shaffer came into the dugout, grabbed his bat and helmet, and won the game with one of the farest homeruns i have ever seen over the leftfield light pole. The Knights may have fought hard, but the better team surely won.

Holt had a couple of bombs in this one, but Watauga's Dunnigan and Butler went yard late in the game to make things interesting.
