    wish i had realized it was being played today, would have cut practice a little short. must of been a good pitching duel.

    big win for bolick`s babies!!! imo the biggest win in achs history! 1st game they have lost at home with childers picthing! you have to take the breaks when they are given to you and ac did! you know what is scary, the babies still are not hitting the ball and when the bats catch up with the defence, look out!!! huge game for fresh. jessica childers ! 7 k`s and 1 hit. congrats to bolick and his babies !

    Congrats on the win.

    Shelby paper is saying that the pitcher for AC was Megan Laxton. Also, wasn't Childers pitching when KM lost to Enka at home a couple 3 years ago. I believe she was a freshman.

    canam it was freshman jessica childers. laxton pitched a 2 hit 15 k`s friday at freedom. also we were told that that was the 1st game that childers had lost as a starter at home. she is awesome!

    That was a great game for both young teams. K.M. will have several more games like this coming up, and will have to play there best if they expect to win. Butler, Hopewell, Andrew Jackson and the Tennessee trip. Coach Grayson does a Great job of preparing these girls to play at there highest level. Congratulations to Alexander Central and Jessica Childers. Good Luck to you on your season.
