West Meck lost to Olympic 6-4 Thursday night. Errors on West Meck's side hurt them tremedously.

Anybody seen Stephen Mullis play for West Meck? He hit a 3 run laser over the 350 for his 2nd home run of the season and he's hit 2 in his last 2 games. He has Spartanburg Methodist and Brevard talking to him now, but he has one of the most beautiful left handed swings I've ever seen.

Thanks for the CVAC update. I've been out of town for a few days and need to catch up. The CVAC doesn't seem to have nearly the interest on this board as last year. Oh, well......

Congratulations to Saint for taking care of business.

Mullis is a good friend of mine and I played ball with him when he was a freshman, and he was at the level of most juniors in the state. That was the year North Meck (Rosenbaum, Porter, Pierce), Indy (State championship runners up with Farry and Bray), Hopewell, and Central Cabarrus were top notch programs and the boy still hit .355. He can hit switch (doesn't do it in high school, waiting until college), and he can play with the best of them. He has the size (6'2", 195) and the skill to play with the best of them. He's hit off of Bumgarner and other greats in legion. He can hit anything. It's just the fact that he plays for West Meck in that conference that makes it hard to say things like that. He's extremely coachable and has a large knowledge and love for the game, he's a college caoches dream.
