We lost to Reynolds I think the final score was 10-5. Don't get any easier we go to Alexander Friday. I guess everyone was at the baseball game. This was by far the smallest crowd we have ever had at an SC softball game. We used to sell more tickets than baseball and soccer combined. Hope people will start coming back out now that the weather is warm

I remember coming to SC and the hill was packed for years but you have to remember you were winning then. No matter what school it is if you don't have a winning team you want have many fans. Till you get your program built back up you won't have the large crowds you used to have. One thing also I have noticed. I work in Caldwell Co. and have always bought a Lenoir paper on days after a game to read about the game. The previous coach always put good writeups in the paper after EVERY game. Now there is never anything in the paper about the softball games. If the coach don't call in a summary of the games the usually don't get in the paper. This will really hurt your program in the future as this is a very good way to create intrest in softball or any sport. The kids read about the high school games and want to be a part of that and it helps to get more people involved. Right now lots don't get any exposure to your softball program. Good luck and see you Friday at AC

I think that it's about time everyone gives credit to coach Mickey Bolick and his staff for the great job they are doing with the Lady Cougars. My hat is off!

Very true! But he never takes credit, he gives it to the players. He basically says it is not the ingredients that gets the cake the blue ribbon, it's the cake itself. My dd learned alot about the game from Mickey, especially the part about keeping the winning in perspective. I appreciate the whole staff at AC and the attitude they have instilled in the girls.

    GO AC!!!:cheer:

    True coaches do that....

True True... coaches don't try to take the glory away from the kids. They are the ones putting in the work, pitching and hitting.

It is a coaches responsibility to get them prepared. Can't go out and perform for them though.

Too much ego stuff going around at every level, College, TB, all the way down to Middle School....amazing........
