    any 6th/7th inning pitching change for ERHS. :annoyed:

    nice to see those younguns from rutherford excelling!

    heard East Gaston defeated North Gaston 4-0

    LP: Keely Russell(JR)

    and each pitcher performed well.

    Laura Hopper relieved Leslie Brooks in the 8th with a couple on, and got out of the jam. She struck out the side in the 9th, and struck out some more in the 10th, but gave up a run in the 11th.

    Youngsters Sally Harrill, Ali Ruppe, Bobbie Jo Wood, and Fran Edgerton all had big hits for East. I don't know the Lady Hilltoppers by name, but they hit the ball well in the middle innings. I do know Sally Wells (hitting and on D) was in the middle of a lot of action. What catcher isn't? LOL! The shortstop (Grace) ,as always, seemed to be on base a lot.

    Senior Lindsay Harrison also had a big hit for East.

    Hopper/Ruppe or Harrill in the 6th/7th inning relief work....sounds like a Win for ERHS before the extras. jmo

    nice work LH, SH, AR, BJW and FE!

    Haley Barrett has a great bloodline .....her dad was a great athlete.

    Thursday night 7P.M West Iredell High school........Have to miss it though......I'm headed to "Space camp" with my son tomorrow.........Back late Friday.......
