    Cali here she comes...

Some of her family is in the airline business which makes it easier. This kid is a responsible & mature young lady. She has her priorities straight as she is a good student and takes softball very seriously. She will handle it well in Cali.

    2007?

And you're saying that by having 2007 signees playing this year your team will WHAT? Come on now Bubba, I'm all for winning, no doubt about that, but when is it time for the future classes 2008, 2009, etc. to start showing what they can do? I read Beachmoms post and it appeared to me that she was interested in the lack of say 12's, 14's to keep a TB program filling spots left by the 07, 08 girls. I've seen this same decline in girls moving up myself. What do think about it? Lack of good coaching maybe? Lack of desire by the kids? Soccer? Help us out here. Thanks

    1/2 & 1/2

half right and half wrong here my marlin friend. bubba has all of his bases covered for now. my interpretation of his entry was more than 2007 kids playing TB ball. and why shouldn't they? if the blues can field multiple teams with different purposes on the surface but in the end still compete competively in any sanctioned event that they qualify for, then my only answer is this &^%$ or get off the pot. to be the best you have to beat the best! flames, cp storm, dominators gold will give them fits. they're not making excuses. sorry marlin, the bad 1/2 of your entry woke me up. play safe

I'm not an expert on the Lady Blues, but what I think you'll find is most of the Gold team has already signed. They'll be playing across the country.

The A and/or B team has 08's and 09's looking to get signed?

As far as the youngsters, our area over in the West seems to be doing good as far as interest.

    Clear

The Gold team is about half and half 2007 and 2008-2009. Our A team is all 2008-2009 except one signed 2007. These girls could move up and take the spots of 2007. Also, we are trying to prepare the 2007 kids for the competition they will face at the college level. Many Gold teams have college players playing for them and many colleges require or highly suggest teams for their players or signees to play with during the summer. We want the Blues to be totally prepared for college softball as well as the other aspects college brings.

We are not saying anyone has to be like us or that we know best, just our way of doing things now. Look forwrd to seeing all of U this summer.
