    The Cliff Peeler Easter Baseball Tournament will be held April 6, 7 and 9 at Salisbury's Robertson Stadium.

    The six Rowan schools, Davie County (9-3) and Forbush (8-4) will be the participants.

    First-round matchups are North-South at 11 a.m.; Davie-Forbush at 1:30 p.m.; East-Carson at 4:30 p.m.; and West-Salisbury at 7 p.m.

    The championship game will be April 9 at 7 p.m.

    Butler 6 - East Wake 2
    Matt Robinson gets the win and goes the distance. Butler batters did not hit the ball as well as usual, but still managed nine hits, five going for extra bases. Gehringer went 2/3 with a triple and a double. Crump and Glass also had a multi hit game. Butler plays for the championship tomorrow night at 7:30pm.

    West Forsyth defeated South Rowan tonight 17-0. Chad Jarvis (Mars Hill signee) pitched 4 strong innings with Alex Robertson getting 2 K's in the 5th. John Stamper 2 run HR, Greg Holt 3-run HR, 2B, 4 rbi's and Garrison Lassiter ( 3 run HR) led the Titans to the conference victory. Big game tommorow night at Davie County. Any opinions on the game Wednesday?
