    ERHS needs to dig deeper with the pitching, as they have 3 equal and better Pitchers waiting! patiently TOO!


    second time(this year and how many time in the past facing LB) around should help the hitters at KMT or any other schools for that matter.

    Proud of Jordan for her shutout innings!

    nice school and athletic facilities Maiden has Now, dont ya think?? you saw the old and the new, all in a few minutes today!

    sorry but hate i didnt introduce you to the Tri-City Academcy Coach but she was just enjoying the two teams battle it out and Planning!!

    We enjoyed the game and fellowship very much CF. Great new facility there in Maiden. Beautiful campus!

    Morning boys and girls, W-S Parkland returns from "down east" after playing in Knightdale's tourney. Great facilities with a 3 spoke wagon wheel complex with 2 baseball fields and 1 softball right beside school. Pretty successful weekend all things considered. Went with only 9 kids with 3 of our starters having to stay at home for various resaons and taking two young ladies who had never touched a ball before Feb.

    Sat.
    Parkland 3
    Broughton 2
    Freshman Morgan Myers 7 innings 0ER 2 hits 14K's
    Soph. Katie Beck and Junior Meredith Pitts RBI each

    All the kids then got on a bus and went to the beach for a couple of days coming back monday for a game at 7 p.m.

    Mon.
    Parkland 2
    Knighdale 1
    Morgan Myers 7 innings 4 hits 1ER 11K's
    Katie Beck 2-3 2 RBI Junior LeAnn Flowers 2-3

    Tues. (championship)
    SE Raleigh 2
    Parkland 1
    Morgan Myers 7 innings 4 hits 0ER 14K's
    junior Te Harper 1-3, soph. Alex Barringer 1-3

    Parkland finishes 2nd out of 8 teams.
    All tourney team included Katie Beck, Soph. catcher Victoria Cook, and Morgan Myers.
    The entire team was well mannered and behaved like ladies the entire weekend and should be commended for their behavior and thank you to Knightdale for the hospitality.:hurray:

    Kristen DaCanal (Ch) was either 3-3 or 4-4 for Cherryville. Feldon had 2 hits for NL.

    It wasn't really a hit, it was an attempt at a sac bunt and there was a little indiscision on who should field it, so no one decided to, lol but it looks like a hit in the book. The girls last name was Soots
