    Maybe this is a question for D1 level, but I was thinking about the schools that really go after the few top pitchers in the country, I mean girls that can put a team on their back and lead them to a college world series, likea Finch or Abbott or Osterman .......... sort of like the best of the best QB's in football or an Greg Oden in basketball or Candace Parker in womens hoops.

    Does this top level pitcher recruitment get really seriously HOT??:sifone: :2guns:

    YES, especially among the Pac 10, Big 10, SEC, Big 12, soon the ACC, and Big East

    yep

    and gets heated at mid level D1, starter up D1s(ie..NCSU and WCU) and the elite DIIs too.
