    something not discussed

HS coaches are limited to players at their school
    TB teams are fully recruited.

I have seen as much drama on a TB team as in HS. it knows no boundries.

7 teams in our conference, 5 of them have one varsity pitcher. (other 2 have back ups for support, but dont start)

HS ball is sooooooo much better now than five years ago because of the influx of travel ball coaches. Some schools require that the head coach be an employee of the school (teacher) and the smart coaches have retained travel ball coaches for assistants.

Not all hs coaches limit a girl to one position. every player on our varsity/jv team rotates positions on our wed/sat practice for experience. hey, i'm willing to train if you're willing to learn. never know, might find a diamond in the ruff.

    Both

Both have good players, both have supportive parents, both have good and bad coaching, both have spoiled brats, both create lots of discussions, both bring joy and heart ache, both are creators of passionate followers, both can build character, both can be scary, both can be fun to watch, both keep TMR's busy, and both are great activity for our young ladies to keep them active, physically and mentally alert, create wonderful long lasting friendships, develop team building skills to assist with life to follow, and if done right, both can be very positive experiences and provide wonderful memories.
Well appears the debate can continue! LOL:1zhelp:

    How many TB teams?

How many TB teams, 18U and 16U exist in NC? Can any of you TB experts make an estimate?
