very true. I also think the hitting will be fine when we cut down on the strikeouts. I believe we have alot more k s than we do walks. Great season so far, hope they keep it up, sorry to hear about Poovey. I like the idea of using Severt some on the mound rather than bringing up a jv player. Just my 2 cents.

Another possible pitcher for SC is Clawson. He threw some in legion and did very well with a good knuckle ball. I also heard Poovey could go ahead and throw now and have surgery this summer without any damage just some pain. But that is just what I've heard don't know if it is true or not

Shane Clawson will do whatever it takes for his team to win. I love this guys enthusium and hustle. You can always hear him talking in the outfield trying to keep his team focused. He is a key leader for the #3 team in America.

Wait now Braves, you are all about the wizardry of wirling durbish Brian Chandler last year... But Shane "the Claw" Clawson not only can pitch... HE HAS A LEGION WIN!!! He won a game last year against Moundsville, West Virginia... Therefore SHANE IS THE BEST PITCHER IN WEST VIRGINIA!! :) Its the whole six degrees of seperation thing...

    West Henderson vs. McDowell

Why would West never play McDowell again - or is this a tongue in cheek post? Did something happen in the game?
Otherwise, I realize that the 1A and 2A schools should be at a grand disadvantage, but it probably helps the 1A and 2A schools to play the bigger schools when they get into their respective state playoff rounds. You only make yourself better by playing up in competition level, don't you?

I love it!!!! "The Claw" ...has a nice ring to it.

One thing I do know about Shane is this: If you need him to pitch....he will. If you need him to catch...he will. If you need him to help coach...he will.

But my boy, Chandler, is a marvel...never will there be another one like him.:cheer:
