You can probably get more details at www.shelbystar.com , but I'll post the basics.

    KM......................7
    Dobyns Bennett.....0

    WP - Morgan Childers
    Save - Jordan Childers

    KM..............................6
    Morristown East.............1

    WP - Morgan Childers

    KM............................3
    Science Hill.................0

    WP - Morgan Childers (19 K's)

    HR - Chasiti Falls

Others can provide more details, but I just wanted to give Chasiti props for her 1st over the fence high school homer.

Sounds like it was a good trip for the young Mountie team as they gear up for the playoffs. Yes, we know the competition is tough out there in the West and the East!

    I think I'll---

I think I will pack it up after this year with high school ball...we never get to play any quality ball except for one team, maybe that's why I can't stand it !!!
You know when you beat somebody 25-2,what in the HECK does that do for your skills???? My DD wants to play some quality ball, but her hands are tied---OH WELL,maybe I'll move to another district !!!

You really can't do anything about the conference schedule but maybe the girls need to talk to the coach about getting some games against better non-conference teams.

I think if you pitch at least 3 innings you get a save no matter what the score is

So this rule is nothing like baseball? Someone could really rack up a lot of saves if they are on a good team.

The rule is the same in baseball as well i beleive you just dont see it very often.

10.20 Credit a pitcher with a save when he meets all three of the following conditions:

    (1) He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his club; and
    (2) He is not the winning pitcher; and

    (3) He qualifies under one of the following conditions:

    (a) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or
    (b) He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on base or is one of the first two batsmen he faces); or

    (c) He pitches effectively for at least three innings.
