NW4A Conference Scores/Results/News!!!

Have no clue do you. West and McDowell scrimmage every spring and play a regular season game. Recent scores are as such:

2002: WH 10, McDowell 5
2003: WH 6, McDowell 1
2004: McDowell 3, WH 2
2005: WH 8, McDowell 7
2006: McDowell 10, WH 5

McDowell is always a competitive game for West and the preseason scrimmages are also good for both clubs. They most certainly will continue to play. The coaches of these two programs have always got along great.

I know the guys have probably been taking some ribbing from the first two meetings this year. Good Rivalry.

 

WHS went 2-1 at the George Whitfield Invitational in Kinston earlier this week. I apoligize for no stats. My computer went down at the hotel following Wataugas upset of the #6 ranked team in 3A South Central. Hopefully it will make a return Tuesday night in Boone when WHS hosts McDowell.

However as a post this there is 2 inches of snow on the ground at my house here in Watauga county.

looks like thats the nicest day of the week (courtesy of raysweather)..but us Boonies know all too well how accurate Ray is. The norm is to expect the complete opposite of what he's calling..
Cuz in Boone, you see and experience weird things.
