Carson and Grigg combined for a no hit shut out in six innings
    Amber Clonninger went 3-4 with 6 rbi's

This was a battle of the winless and a much needed victory for huss.

prior comments about shelby are true, this team has come a long way in two years, play as a team, good spirits and good coaching. awesome catcher with a strong arm.

hats off to the coach, she's pushing them hard and melding them together as a good future team.

    East Burke-2
    McDowell -0
Great game at McDowell today. East Burke had a solid defensive effort behind some good pitching. McDowell could not get the bats going against the slower pitches of East Burkes starter#18. This game was up in the air until the 5th when East pushed 1 run across against the McDowell reliever. East Burke sealed the deal in the 5th when they brought in the freshman pitcher Hudson. I was really impressed with this little freshman. East Burke has to be the best 2-12 team out there. :kid:
