Predictions for Legion 2007

Great to have you back Rock N Fire. I've missed ya buddy! You can PM me if you prefer, but what have you heard so far? What did the MRI show?

 

This argument comes up every year showcase vs Legion i have been on both sides as far as coaching and i would take Legion. Legion has always been the best and probably always will be How can a kid turn down a chance to play especially in area 3 southern division loaded with talent great ball parks huge crowds and yes college and pro scouts do attend games. yes legion has done some things recently to water it down a little bit but they can be fixed and hopefully it will be.If you love to play baseball how can you turn it down, playing almost every night , no charge to play for most teams, a great fan base I just don't get it , Most travel teams cost alot of money they only play on weekend tournaments maybe practice 1 day during the week and they are always picking up diferent players every tournament (slow pitch softball) I hardly every see any crowds at these games. Most of these teams are coached by parents alot of good players are not asked to play. Which this means all showcase/travel teams are not that stocked with talent.

 

Andrew Hunt is playing legion this summer. I've also heard Zack Roach is returning. Not sure about White, Briggs and Bush. Regardless of who plays, it should be an exciting year. You're right 9nine9 - the kids really enjoy playing for Griff. Only one month till the fun begins. The atmosphere (and the hot dogs) at Holt-Moffitt are second to none! The Lexington BBQ isn't too bad either.
