cf- I wouldn't think you would ever speak badly about any player, but you must admit that the pitcher's parents would read this and not understand

What did i do now????? saw your post, saw braves post, sent pm to erms asking whats that all about? got reply, understand why you said it, but think it would have been better to list her as senior pitcher, not nick name as everyone knows who red is. (even though everyone also knows who senior pitcher is) am i still talking a lot??? every waking minute, but contrary to what you think, its not about you buddy.

The starter did have a good game, always does. She kept RS in check most of ball game not giving up many hits and never gave up anything more than a single. Was pulled in 6th after a hit and couple of walks. Score was 1-0 when she left game with 2 runners on base and 2 outs. Next batter up hits triple off relief pitcher. Still, these two teams always go back and forth and was a great game. Give Central some credit, they won ballgame, East pitching didn't lose it.

Yes, Stevens pitched really well that day. It had been almost 2 weeks since East had taken batting practice. They did not practice or play over the break. Leadoff walk to start the 6th in a 0-0 game. They did get 2 outs before the chinker over the 3rd baseman's head. Give Wells credit for a good at bat. Tough situation for the reliever, who actually looked to have the strikeout for the 3rd out on the 2-2 count, but the ump didn't bite for the outside corner. Then, the triple over the right fielder's head who was playing way in. It would have been over the head if they were playing normal depth, but playing about 130 feet doesn't get it anymore the way girls can hit now. I give Central credit for this game, and coming back to win the first game at Central. If these young pitchers from East keep improving as they have, you'll see all of them you want to the next 3 years. I think what's being said is, they are ready now, and they deserve a shot, and not just when the trouble is already happening. That being said, the senior does a good job too. There's a lot of schools who would like to have this type of depth, but it's hard to get them all time, especially with a short schedule.

I noticed Lewis on Saturday at the tournament. She is one fine ball player. What grade, and of what travel team is she a member? Also noticed the left fielder "G", and thought Melton threw really well.
