i was trying not to point fingers at the other team. Yes, Providence had i think 2 runs off of errors in that inning. But they also had clutch hits like you said. It was a very well played game, but got a little sloppy at the end. Thats baseball. Hopefully JV will have a rematch next Saturday just like the varsity.

Hat's off to the Trinity pitcher. Chad is his name. Great kid. Even though we have played against him for 3-4 years now his last name escapes me. He pitched very well and continues to improve. Even though Trinity only scored 2 runs they hit it hard.

With the development of the Archdale Pony league over the past 5 years I expect to see the Trinity teams continue to improve. They should be much better in the future. with their sophomore class and younger. That community has also been active with several USSSA teams the last 4 years.

Ragsdale had some strong AB's by several kids along with some clutch D and pitching.

    Providence- 9
    Ardrey Kell- 4

    WP- Alex Wood
    LP- Ryan Butler

Wood pitched 5 2/3 giving up 3 runs. Looked stong. Providence came out putting the ball in play and making AK make plays. Providence is now 13-5 on the year.

Ragsdale bats looked good today. Ended it in five instead of going for the 7th inning comeback. Sparks pitched five for the win. Maynard took the loss for Randleman. Ryan Andrejco was 3-3, 2 DBs, 3 RBIS to lead Ragsdale. Alex Walters was 1-2, DB, SF, 3 RBIs.

17 down, 1 more to go.

    WF 19-2 (2 left)

    VS. Watauga

Ben Currie pitched 3 inn. and Trey Vestal Pitched 3 inn. Both in their 1st HS mound duty. Watauga did hit the ball pretty good, would have liked to see the aces throw, both teams looked solid.

    VS East Rowan

East Rowan handed West there second loss 4-3 (@ East Rowan). East is a very good ball team. East Rowan has a great SS and 1st baseman. Dustin Myers 5-1 suffered his first loss. West made some fielding miscues as East exicuted two bunts perfectly in the 5th to take the lead.
This was an exciting game. I still can't believe the Umps let players talk to them like they do down there (heard varsity was better). That took a little away from the game, but both teams are good and showed promise in the future!

West has a 1 game lead in the conference with 2 left (Davie, @ South Rowan) East plays MT this week! WOW what a conference.
